Mangonel

A mangonel was a muscle-powered catapult used in sieges to launch stones and other projectiles. Its power came from the strength of several people and a fast pulling motion.

At Keskiajankylä, the mangonel can be used with staff assistance for safety reasons. At this activity point, the stone is launched far into the forest.
