Onager

An onager was a siege engine used to hurl stones and other projectiles at fortifications, gates, or defenders. Its power came from a tensioned arm that launched the projectile with a sudden motion.

At Keskiajankylä, you can try the onager yourself. The goal is to aim and shoot a cluster of stones at a wooden knight.
